Local Volunteers

Is transport provided?

We provide group transport from our main office in Kampala to all regional project sites in Gulu and Mbarara.

Do I receive a stipend?

While volunteering is unpaid, we provide lunch during field days and certificates of service for your professional portfolio.

Visa requirements for Uganda?

International volunteers usually require a ‘Class G’ work permit. We provide invitation letters to assist your e-visa application process.

Is accommodation included?

We can arrange homestays or recommend vetted guest houses near our project sites. Costs are covered by the volunteer.
