Measuring Change, Not Just Activities
At Katonda Afaayo Foundation, impact means real change in communities not just the number of activities completed. We track how our climate actions improve the environment, strengthen livelihoods, and support community health.
Our work focuses on long-term environmental restoration, youth empowerment, and community resilience.

Through KAF’s training, I learned how to manage a tree nursery and now earn income while protecting my community’s environment.
Youth Participant, Wakiso District
The Species Exhibition at Cylas courts brought together community members, students, and conservation enthusiasts to learn about Uganda’s native tree species, their ecology, their uses, and why protecting them matters. Our team was on the ground, distributing seedlings, answering questions, and sparking conversations about biodiversity that don’t often happen outside the classroom.
