Public awareness took place in Bubebere and this involved sharing with members at the site of lake Victoria view Wakiso, Mpigi Busiro east and its main objective was to educate the public especially the brick makers , forests workers thereby educating the young generation about the importance of nature through planting trees.
The exhibition gatherings were held at Cylas courts which involved visitors both the local community and others from different areas. Katonda Afaayo shared the importance of going back to the African natural roots. this opened with a free show casing of the African tree species that are in distinction in the local community .This aimed to check and awaken people about the need to embrace the phasing out tree species with their importance.
